About Tim Bullen
Tim Bullen has been a keen photographer since the age of ten when his father gave him a Box Brownie to play with. Born in Cornwall he soon discovered the beauty of the natural playground around him and quickly became interested in the landscapes and wildlife that Cornwall has to offer.
After qualifying in dark room photography at St. Austell College he set up his own dark room to create images with a personal hand printed touch. He gained experience in large and medium format, as well as 35mm film; Tim resisted the age of digital photography for quite a while but eventually began to appreciate the flexibility it had to offer especially in his work as a press photographer.
His work regularly appears in several of the Cornish newspapers and has been published in the national and international press. His most recent work of the Red Arrows flying through a rainbow at Fowey Royal Regatta was reviewed on national television and radio. They were published in Britain's top national newspapers and international press as far as the Courier Mail Australia, and have also been seen in America, Canada, Germany and throughout the Internet. |
